The composition of the milk of the Giraffe (Giraffa Camelopardalis Reticulata)

A sample of milk was obtained from a giraffe while under anaesthesia for a minor operation. Since we have been unable to find any previous reports on the composition of giraffe's milk, we present here our findings for the chemical composition and vitamin content of this one sample taken during the fifth month of lactation.
