Optimizing stocking mix and financial resources for game production

Most game ranches have several game species whose abundance is self regulated. This often leads to competition between species, and species with a low financial return usually predominate. By optimizing the productive ability of the game species as well as their financial return and demand on resources, an ecological and economic stocking mix can be determined. This paper describes linear programming and how this objective can be achieved using this approach.
